Under the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) Lead and Copper Rule Revision (LCRR) the City of Fairmont is required to make a materials inventory list of every waterline and appurtenances in the distribution system. This will include meters, valves, fittings, utility service lines, public service lines, and all non-potable water lines. In an effort to comply with these new revisions the City of Fairmont is conducting a questionnaire in order to determine the year your residence/structure was built, the type of plumbing that is installed in the residence/structure, and also the type of service line that is supplying the residence/structure.
The City of Fairmont needs your help in order to provide accurate data regarding the customer’s portion of the service line, so we can provide all of our customers with professional quality drinking water. We humbly ask you to complete this questionnaire.
