Rescue 5
This 2022 Sutphen custom rescue apparatus is equipped to handle a variety of technical rescue incidents. It carries the equipment needed to accomplish rope rescue incidents, confined space rescues, vehicle extrication, as well as a variety of specialized tools to assist with firefighting activities.
Engine 41
This 2018 Pierce pumper protects the downtown area. It has an on-board water tank of 750 gallons, integrated foam system, and a 1500gpm pump.
Engine 42
Engine 42 is a 2011 Pierce Freightliner Class-A pumper. It holds 1,000 gallons of water, and various firefighting tools, ladders and hose. Engine 42 is housed at East-Side Station.
Engine 43
Engine 43 is a 2007 Smeal Advantage Class-A custom pumper. It carries 500 gallons of water, and has a 25-gallon foam induction system. It is capable of pumping 2,000 gallons of water per minute. It also carries hydraulic rescue tools to supplement the rescue truck with extrication.
Engine 44
Engine 44 is a 1996 Pierce Saber, Class-A custom pumper. It holds 500 gallons of water, and various firefighting tools, ladders and hose and can flow water at 1,250 gallons per minute. Engine 44 is located at central station as a spare engine.
Ladder 47
Ladder 47 is a 2007 pierce 100-foot platform truck with a 2,000-gallon-per-minute pump twin, 2,000-gallon-per-minute nozzles on the platform, 515hp Detroit Diesel Engine, 300-gallon on board tank, fully equipped ladder company stationed in Central Fire Station.
Unit 48
This 2020 Ford Ranger is stationed in central fire station and equipped to respond to emergency medical calls.
Unit 58
Unit 58 is a 2011 Ford Explorer assigned to Station 2 on Morgantown Ave. for pulling the water rescue trailer.
Chief 4
This 2014 Ford Explorer is the Fire Chief's vehicle.
Boat 4
Boat 4 is a 14-foot flat-bottom powerboat. It has a 25hp motor, and is used for rescue, recovery and access to incidents on the rivers and bodies of water in and around Fairmont. It is housed at station 2.
Boat 5
Boat 5 is a 14-foot flat-bottom powerboat. It has a 15hp motor, and is used for rescue, recovery and access to incidents on the rivers and bodies of water in and around Fairmont.
Safety 4
Safety 4 is a 2014 Ford Explorer assigned to the fire prevention and training captain.
Haz-Mat 4
Haz-Mat 4 is a 2001 GMC C-6500 commercial cab medium rescue. It carries various tools capable of mitigating hazardous materials incidents. This truck has a PTO generator capable of powering its multiple on-board scene lights and and air-supply system for fillin firefighters' air bottles.
